The Dirty Dozen and the Clean Fifteen

Here’s a quick reference on the Dirty Dozen and the Clean Fifteen.

Both of these lists have gone through variations due to different locations and over the years with updates and changes. Between my educational training and my own personal research I have compiled a modified list for both (there are a few more than the number indicated). Remember these lists are based on pesticide levels.

The Dirty “Dozen”:
My philosophy is to buy organic when possible but even if you can’t, consume mindfully – that is wash thouroughly, but no need to freak out if it’s not organic, just don’t consume in large amounts.
